As expected in a highly upsetting and controversial vote, today FISA and telecom immunity passed in the Senate. Obama and Kohl both voted for the final bill and against the constitution...
More in a bit...
Update: The final list is not yet published, but I watched it live and it will be here within the hour.
A LOT of Americans are disappointed today. As a matter of fact, all Americans should be... The Dems sold us out for a spending package they could run on in the fall... They COULD have run on NOT selling us, our rights and our constitution out. This was all just SO unnecessary!!!
Well, 28 of them will and those 28 will do just fine. The others can whine all they want about how hard it is to legislate with a republican president, but honestly, if the dem nominee votes for such a reckless bill, why should we believe he will be a better president? Help me with this one... someone please...
I'm really disappointed and upset right now... Hope is waning, change seems fleeting... I'm not inspired...

To say I was disappointed by Sen. Obama's vote is putting it mildly, but at least we here in Wisconsin can be proud that Senator Feingold stood his ground and showed he's a man of principle.
